Jackie Reem Salloum's documentary accompanies young Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank who use hip-hop to fight against the visible and invisible barriers of occupation, poverty and social exclusion. (Salloum, USA 2008)

Feel Your Gem Resist & Unite Edition (13.06.25-15.06.25): A weekend of creative exchange and empowerment through film, dance, battles and an exhibition on club cultures. The focus is on the Cultures of Ballroom, Hip Hop and House as well as the promotion of BIPoC and queer artists. The aim is to create a space that encourages creativity, diversity and solidarity while recognizing the connections to past and present inequalities. For community and transcultural connections. For voices from memory and mutual strength for the future.
The resist & unite edition is related to our feelings of the present, the confrontation with the current state of the world and the need for solidarity between our experiences and positions within these spaces.
By amplifying voices from the past and the present and offering spaces for exchange, listening and dancing, we want to create a platform where we can grow, connect and support each other without withdrawing from the realities we see and live.
