feeLit 2025: Dana von Suffrin

From June 29 to July 12, feeLit - International Literature Festival Heidelberg will be hosting its authors at halle02 for the first time. This new festival venue will be all about books and writing for seven days. This year, feeLit presents national and international literary stars and brings authors together with their audience.

Dana von Suffrin - Once again from the beginning

Dana von Suffrin, born in Munich in 1985, has a doctorate in history and is an award-winning author. Her new novel tells of family, loss and the desire to belong with black humor and great strength.

After the death of her father, Rosa has to clear out his apartment - and with it a whole family chaos: failed marriages, missing sisters, split origins between Munich and Tel Aviv. The past forces its way back into her life, full of both funny and painful memories. Between quarrels, longing and the search for home, von Suffrin tells of the continuing impact of Jewish history and what remains when everything else falls apart.
