From June 29 to July 12, feeLit - International Literature Festival Heidelberg will be hosting its authors at halle02 for the first time. This new festival venue will be all about books and writing. This year, feeLit presents national and international literary stars and brings authors together with their audience.

Jovana Reisinger is an author, filmmaker and visual artist. She was nominated for the Bavarian Book Prize in 2021 with her book Spitzenreiterinnen. Her essayistic novel Enjoy Schatz was published in 2022 and Pleasure in 2024.

"What's the underclass girl doing on the red carpet?" asks a visitor at the Munich Film Festival in my direction. Yes, what is she doing there? She's on a mission. The chick's appearance suggests a transgressive desire. It's about kitsch, glamor, trash, it's about camp. It's about bodies, identities. It's about rhinestones, class and artificial fingernails.
