feeLit 2025: Martina Hefter

From June 29 to July 12, feeLit - International Literature Festival Heidelberg will be hosting its authors at halle02 for the first time. This new festival venue will be all about books and writing for seven days. This year, feeLit presents national and international literary stars and brings authors together with their audience.

Martina Hefter - Hey good morning, how are you?

Martina Hefter is an author and performer living in Leipzig. Her novel Hey guten Morgen, wie geht es dir? was awarded the German Book Prize in 2024.

It centers on Juno, who cares for her seriously ill husband and chats with love scammers online at night. In these conversations, she finds a space of freedom - an escape from everyday life. When she meets Benu, who sees through her lies, an unexpected connection is formed.

Hefter succeeds in writing a novel about love, loneliness and the fascination of fiction in digital times that is both tender and clever.
