feeLit 2025: Martina Hefter

From June 29 to July 12, feeLit - International Literature Festival Heidelberg will be hosting its authors at halle02 for the first time. This new festival venue will focus on books and writing for two weeks. This year, feeLit presents national and international literary stars and brings authors together with their audience.

Martina Hefter - Hey good morning, how are you?

The writer and performance artist Martina Hefter and the musician and performer Patrice Lipeb enter into a dialog of music, text and movement about Hefter's novel "Hey guten Morgen, wie geht es dir?". They make moods and images from the novel audible and visible and open up new perspectives. A performance based on playing and dancing together, on listening and reacting.

Author

Martina Hefter is an author and performer based in Leipzig. Her texts range between poems, scenic forms of writing and novels. She stages many of her texts in collaboration with other artists. She has published three novels and - published by kookbooks Berlin - five volumes of poetry. She received the German Book Prize in 2024 for her last novel, Hey guten Morgen, wie geht es dir? Patrice Lipeb is a versatile musician and creative artist. As a multi-instrumentalist and performer, he explores the sonic dimensions of textures and noises in his work. From this, he develops experimental compositions that combine aleatoric and generative elements with analog loops, guitars and synthesizer drones.
