There was a time when Düsseldorf was the center of German pop music for a few years. German punk was born here, which gave rise to Neue Deutsche Welle. The band Fehlfarben played a key role in this. Their legendary album "Monarchie und Alltag" (1980) was ranked by ROLLING STONE as the most important German album of all time, while MUSIKEXPRESS ranked the album fourth among the best German albums of all time.
After more than 40 years of band history, which included many other critically acclaimed releases such as "Knietief im Dispo", "Handbuch für die Welt" and "Glücksmaschinen", Fehlfarben achieved their highest chart position ever with "?0??".
Lyschko are Lukas Korn and siblings Lina and Jonah Holzrichter - with headphones in their ears, the three pale figures in black 80s jackets sit in a four-person seat on a train. They are surrounded by fancy KIima equipment, guitar bags and a tube guitar amp that is far too heavy, which they are trying to lift onto the luggage rack together. They stole the jackets from their parents' cellar. They don't have to talk much, they've known each other for so long. Every now and then, someone takes off their headphones to recommend a song to the others. They travel back and forth between concerts and studio sessions. They take all these experiences and, above all, all the music they discover in the process back to their rehearsal room. Over the years, they have somehow managed to agree that they simply belong together as a band: Between studying or not studying, part-time jobs and long train journeys
KONTROLLE from the Holygoatrecords syndicate sets the big feelings to music
between cynicism and bad mood not only wonderfully compact, but also
but also quite danceable. They deliver excellently performed wave / post-punk with
with a lot of middle finger and a dash of melancholy or NDW from the
anti-fascist upside down. With this soundtrack to the psychosocial
