Martina lives with her mother and little brother in a high-rise housing estate in Berlin. Her mother can't always look after her little brother because she works shifts, so Martina takes over. But one day her life changes abruptly because she has managed to get into the coveted Johann Sigismund High School. It is common knowledge there that town and village children have no
contact with each other, as there is an old rivalry between them. One day, when a fight breaks out between the two groups, Martina can no longer keep out of it and intervenes. Was that the right decision?
