Feierabendfilm: Maria Montessori

In 1901, the young Maria Montessori decides to embark on an educational journey. What she doesn't realize, however, is that her ideas about education will trigger a revolution in pedagogy. She develops a concept that enables children with disabilities to gain better access to learning content. Her approach is not to impose strict discipline, but to focus attention on the individual needs of each child. Together with her partner, she opens an institute that reaps the rewards of her work. One day, when she takes in the daughter of a prostitute, a close bond develops between her and the young mother, enabling her to believe in herself and her ideas.
