UNESCO adopted the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of Cultural Diversity 20 years ago. As a UNESCO City of Literature, the city has been committed to cross-border cultural exchange on an equal footing and to artistic freedom beyond economic evaluation since 2014. To mark the 20th anniversary of the Convention, artists from Heidelberg and the region from a wide range of backgrounds are now presenting their artistic expressions in short, interdisciplinary formats. The focus is on interdisciplinary contributions that combine, for example, literature with dance, music or film. The spectrum ranges from traditional to experimental. Everyone is cordially invited to the celebration on July 25!
