Fest der Rose im Würzburger Logenhaus

The Würzburg city group of the Ancient and Mystical Order of the Rose Cross(AMORC) invites you to the Rose Festival on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Würzburg Lodge House (Valentin-Becker-Straße 3, 97072 Würzburg). Anyone interested is welcome to attend this atmospheric celebration in the Rosicrucian annual cycle to trace the symbolic meaning of the queen of flowers.

During the festival, members of the city group will give short keynote speeches on various aspects of the rose: for example its botany, its representation in music, literature and painting or its mystical and philosophical symbolism.

Free admission. Admission is from 3.45 pm, beginning at 4 pm. From 5 p.m., there will be an opportunity for discussion over a shared coffee. The number of participants is limited. Registration by June 19, 2025 at wuerzburg@amorc.de is therefore required. More information about AMORC and the Würzburg city group can be found at www.amorc.de.

AMORC is a globally active, non-dogmatic, non-political and non-religious association of women and men who learn and implement practical mysticism together. The aim is to recognize oneself in order to develop and use the full potential of one's own personality in harmony with creation. There has been a city group of AMORC in Würzburg since 1970. It offers interested women and men space for Rosicrucian work, exchange of ideas and encounters from person to person.

A blooming red rose at the intersection of a cross is the distinguishing mark of AMORC. The rose embodies the fully developed personality or soul of a person who is in harmony with the material and spiritual realities of their own life, the cross. The festival of the rose therefore traditionally falls on the summer solstice. This is the longest day and the shortest night of the year. Figuratively speaking, the light is then fully unfolded like the blooming rose at the intersection of the cross.
