The liberating, cathartic power of humor, its potential to create distance, provoke thought and break down social boundaries are the focus of this three-day festival at the English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center.
The "Fest of Fools" is dedicated to humor as a means of choreography, cultural practice and social dialogue. In four different performances, Kysy Fischer, Alica Minar, Raul Vargas Torres, Lukáš Karásek and Felix Baumann invite the audience to an exchange on the meaning of humor in today's crisis-ridden society. Various artistic forms of expression will be presented that use humor as an instrument of criticism and as a catalyst for change.
