The 21st "Festival of German Film Ludwigshafen am Rhein" takes place in a temporary tent landscape on the Rhine. A meeting place for audiences, stars and the industry. A film festival of a new kind - since 2005 on the Parkinsel Ludwigshafen am Rhein.

The complete program is now available on our website . At the same time, distribution of the printed edition will begin in the region. We are already looking forward to the 21st edition of our festival - we hope you will join us!

Let us tell you stories about how others fare. Immerse yourself in the fates of others and enjoy life in all its depth and breadth. This works particularly well with the films we have selected for you this year.

Do you like movie stories that are above all entertaining? Or do you like things to be stylish? Should it be exciting above all? Or do you prefer quiet and haunting? We promise that all our films will be a real experience for you. Because our film festival is not afraid to show films of very different kinds.
The distribution of the printed program has only just begun, so it may take a few more days before all venues are supplied. We ask for your patience - and are already looking forward to celebrating the "21st Festival of German Film" together with you.

A FESTIVAL FOR EVERYONE
The F.A.Z. once called this film festival "Germany's most beautiful festival". Because of the beauty and surprising elegance of the park island in the Rhine in the middle of an industrial city. And because of the atmosphere. This special mixture of joie de vivre with sunset and enthusiasm for the art of film. Because thousands of people celebrate and discuss the films and their artists here like nowhere else. With over 100,000 visitors, the Festival of German Film is the second most popular film festival in Germany after the Berlinale.

Barrier-free access

Wheelchair-accessible entrances to all cinemas and venues. Disabled parking spaces in Parkstraße, on the corner of Hafenstraße, near the "Insel Bastei" restaurant. Barrier-free access to some films via the GRETA app (free of charge) (audio descriptions, subtitles) with your own smartphone. You can find out which films this applies to at fflu.de.

Price information:

All cinema tickets are seat tickets with a fixed seat number - reserved for you. There are discounts when buying several tickets, as well as (under certain conditions) Free admission with a membership of "Kulturparkett Rhein-Neckar e.V". Festival passes can also be booked.
