The mandolin is one of the symbols of Naples, just like Vesuvius or pizza napoletana. In 2016, it was even given its own museum in the heart of the old town, the Casa del Mandolino, where you can listen to the famous canzoni napoletane and virtuoso mandolin concerts. With a whole arsenal of lutes and mandolins in their luggage, the original sound ensemble Arte Mandoline around Juan Carlo Munoz and Mari Fe Pavón comes to the Bullenstall Knechtsteden and gives virtuoso samples of the baroque art of plucking, garnished with arias and canzonettas by Neapolitan masters from the mouth of soprano Nuria Rial.
Concert without intermission. Ends around 16:30.
The team at Klosterhof Knechtsteden will be offering coffee and cake before the concert.
