🌿Opening Festival Gutes Leben Leipzig - September 13 to 21, 2025 🌿

The Festival Gutes Leben Leipzig will take place for the first time in September 2025 and invites all Leipzig residents to engage with the central question: What does a good life mean? On September 13, we want to open the festival together with you at 2 pm in the East Hall of the main train station. In addition to a choir concert, you can view the first interim results of our survey "What does a good life mean to you personally?" in an exhibition and find out more about the festival program.

Whether city walks, hands-on activities, lectures, workshops, discussion rounds, book presentations or creative formats - at the festival, numerous actors will make visible how diverse, solidary and lively good living is already being shaped in Leipzig today. Be part of it!

👥 The festival is organized by Forum Nachhaltiges Leipzig and Gemeinwohlökonomie Mitteldeutschland e.V., together with the City of Leipzig and many committed partners. The festival aims to carry out many decentralized actions in Leipzig with reference to the question of what constitutes a good life.

💬 What does a good life mean to you?

A survey is already underway in the run-up to the event, in which Leipzig residents can share their views on the good life. The answers will be incorporated into a traveling exhibition and form the basis for many festival activities.
