FETTBERG - HUMAN GARBAGE

What is hidden behind the mountain of fat, the abyss of our consumer society? What stories do the leftovers tell that we overlook and forget? What happens when what we leave behind catches up with us? In FETTBERG - human garbage at the Theater in Bauturm, the kopróchoma collective will artistically explore the legacies of our consumer society and shed light on the complex realities of life through the phenomenon of the fat mountain. At the center is an installative waste performance in which the audience is guided through our urban waste cycles. In this way, they encounter ever new perspectives on what is considered "leftover" by society. The performance opens up an intimate confrontation with the remnants of the consumer world that we have excluded and forgotten. What or who are "the leftovers"? That nobody wants to see or deal with? In an immersive performance, collected from the actual garbage of the city, garbage, art, barter and performance become blurred. The fat mountain invites the audience to a lively confrontation with the apocalyptic remnants of our world.
