Horns up, warriors and shield maidens, because on December 14, 2024 the time has come: Feuerschwanz celebrate their 20th band anniversary in Essen's Grugahalle - together with many guests, friends and companions.

20 years of Feuerschwanz - that calls for the biggest Metfest ever! For 20 years, the folk metal heroes have lived by the eleventh commandment: Celebrate life as if death awaits tomorrow!

When the band around main man Feuerschwanz set off on their wanderings to the stages in 2004 with little more than steel strings, they didn't even dare to think that their dragon would one day grow into such a giant. But Feuerschwanz has long since left all the naggers and doubters in the dust of shame.

Feuerschwanz have long since moved from the country's medieval markets to large concert halls and Germany's stadiums. The contemplative lute sounds of the early years have developed into epic guitar riffs which, combined with bagpipes and violin, result in absolutely modern and rousing folk metal. In the meantime, the band has also reached their European neighbors as far south as Spain and Italy. Most recently, on their crusade through the Caribbean, even the inhabitants of the American continents discovered their love for Feuerschwanz and bravely tried their hand at singing along to the German tongue twisters.

The band's further development was rewarded in 2022 and 2023 with two No. 1 albums in a row. In 2022, the accolade on the main stage of the Wacken Open Air at midnight with 40,000 celebrating fans. But the treasure chest containing the Franconians' golden secret is not that difficult to crack. It contains the ingredients of the magic potion for success: inventiveness, irony, intelligence and integrity. Feuerschwanz also like to poke fun at the zeitgeist with thieving glee. But they always deal with old material and serious topics wisely and respectfully. Feuerschwanz have long since grown up and have played their way into the hearts of their huge fan base with musical skill and a wink of the eye.

And so Feuerschwanz call out to the Methörner: warriors, battle dwarves and Valkyries all hurry over to celebrate the big Schubsetanz on July 24, 2025 on the Seebühne Bremen!
