The district festival in the west of Stuttgart

The west of Stuttgart is one of the most popular districts in Stuttgart. Urban, colorful, bustling, creative and vibrant. Right in the middle - the Feuersee. One of the most beautiful and striking places in the city. Rosenau Kultur e.V. is organizing the festival from the west for the west for the thirteenth time this year!

Mirko Buxbaum has been taking care of the guests' physical well-being and organizing the infrastructure of the festival for the stands and exhibitors since 2018. This year, various initiatives and associations from the district will once again be able to present themselves around the lake and culinary delights of all kinds will be offered at over 40 stands.

Next to the Rosenau stage will once again be the red gondola of the "Friends of Rosenau" with the tombola for the Rosenau Cultural Association. On Saturday and Sunday, there will also be a varied and diverse family program for children on the Rosenau stage and in the theater of the old town with various performances. And, of course, the trouser buoy across the Feuersee - supervised by MTV Stuttgart - is a must for the children.

In the evening, the square in front of the Rosenau stage at the Johanneskirche is transformed into a concert location with regional bands providing good entertainment and a festive atmosphere.

Also from Thursday to Saturday, there will be live music on the stage on Gutenbergstrasse/the east side of the Feuersee. During previous Feuersee festivals, the dedicated Stiege 4 team has transformed this location into a visually and acoustically appealing environment and provided visitors with an unforgettable atmosphere!

Following the closure of Stiege 4 last year, Tommi Fadini and Mirko Buxbaum are continuing this tradition: good drinks, exciting DJs and live acts. "We want to preserve the spirit of Stiege 4 and at the same time bring in a breath of fresh air," says Mirko Buxbaum. "The Buntsee stage will be a place where music, culture and community come together."

At the end of the Feuerseefest on Sunday evening, Patrick Bopp traditionally invites people to sing together: "Full throated for the soul."
