Alex Trommler is a visual artist who works with sculpturally processed glass and precise metalworking.
The "Fictional Technologies" series presents sculptural works that combine art and technology in the form of seemingly scientific instruments. These objects combine aesthetic and mechanical design elements and are staged like museum exhibits of historical significance. They suggest concrete functions and are provided with clearly formulated but dubious descriptions.
