The film industry is changing - and with it, the demands and expectations of working on set are changing. Topics such as diversity, mental health and intimacy coordination are no longer marginal notes, but essential foundations for safe, respectful and creative collaboration.

Diversity stands for representation and equal opportunities - in front of and behind the camera. A diverse industry not only better reflects reality, but also creates new perspectives and stories that can really reach everyone.
Mental health is increasingly coming into focus, because creative work needs space, understanding and a stable environment. Especially in an often stressful, project-based working environment, it is important not to lose sight of yourself and others.
Intimacy coordination is establishing itself as a professional standard when it comes to sensitive scenes. It protects those involved, creates clear structures and enables respectful collaboration at eye level.

Film Forward: Key Points for the next generation offers talented young people a practical introduction to these topics - a behind-the-scenes introduction to the film industry with awareness.

• Mental Health - 1 pm - 2.10 pm including Q&A with Heike Dzaack-Crostewitz from DramaCare
• Diversity - 2.20 pm - 3.30 pm including Q&A with Cornelius Kreutzwirth
• PAUSE - 30 minutes with coffee and snacks
• Intimacy coordination - 4 pm - 5.15 pm including Q&A with Julia Effertz
• Panel talk 5.30 - 7 p.m. with the speakers and Christoph Kukula from 42film, moderated by Tbd.

Participation and requirements The event "Film Forward: Key Points for Young Filmmakers" is aimed at the next generation of filmmakers. Whether you are a university or college student, an apprentice, a school graduate with an interest in film or a career changer - you are cordially invited! We are happy to receive a compensation contribution of €7 for the event.
