Filmabend und Gespräch: Das leere Grab

In the organizer's words:

A story about the traces and traumas that the former German colonial rule has left behind in Tanzanian families and communities to this day - and about the strength and self-empowerment of the survivors who are stubbornly campaigning for a full investigation. "The Empty Grave" sheds light on a chapter of German history that has hardly been illuminated to date and thus makes an important contribution to the long overdue reappraisal of German colonial crimes.

After watching the documentary together, there will be an opportunity to talk to the filmmaker Agnes Lisa Wegner.

The film will be shown in H121 of the Faculty of Human Sciences (Gronewaldstraße 2, 50931). Drinks will be available for a donation. We look forward to seeing you there! :)
