IO CAPITANO tells the adventurous journey of Seydou and Moussa, two young men who leave Senegal to make their way to Italy. They do so in secret, despite repeated warnings about the dangerous journey. Their dream of becoming rich and famous as pop stars in Europe is too big. But their journey is not the road movie they had imagined.
