Germany's only major city on the North Sea coast is ripe for a local maritime film music concert. After all, genres such as the pirate film or the various epic submarine thrillers are an integral part of the world of cinematography. In the film music concert On the High Seas, the Philharmonic Orchestra will musically send galleons full of undead pirates through the Caribbean, let Soviet nuclear submarines escape in the deep sea, and the audience may even encounter a mermaid bearing the name of a popular laundry detergent. So: "Cast off!"
