Filmnacht Schloss Benrath 'Sisi und Ich'

To mark its 25th anniversary, the Benrath Palace and Park Foundation invites you to the first of two special movie nights. The successful historical drama "Sisi & Ich" by Frauke Finsterwalder will be shown in the courtyard of the east wing of Benrath Palace. The film was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize for directing, among others.

A cinematic look back awaits you before the main film: Excerpts from the film adaptation of the successful novel "Die vom Niederrhein" (1933), which is set in Benrath, will be presented with commentary and provide insights into the castle's cinematic past.

The castle café will provide you with small delicacies, fresh popcorn and drinks.

Start of movie: 20:30

The event takes place in the courtyard as an open-air cinema, regardless of the weather. In case of rain, we kindly ask you to refrain from using umbrellas

The second film night at Schloss Benrath will take place on September 27 with the film "The Fox".
