We cordially invite you: To the last exhibition day of Embracing the Fold (open from 12 noon) and Artist Talk with Kinke Kooi and Roland Schimmel. Moderated by Maria Babusch and Lisa Klosterkötter with other guests. Come by - Everybody welcome!

Kinke Kooi's and Roland Schimmel's studios have been located next to each other for almost 40 years. Despite being partners for many years and living and working together, they have not yet exhibited together. This may come as a surprise, as many of their artistic approaches, their visual worlds and perspectives are close to each other, complement or depend on each other, turn into each other, peel off from each other and, as they themselves describe it, were created in close harmony with each other.

They are exhibiting together for the first time in the Temporary Gallery: Paintings, drawings, computer animations and collages from the last decades to the present day, as well as a new mural conceived for the space.

Artist Astrid Kajsa Nylander and exhibition designer Pål Rodenius have worked together to develop a furniture and spatial concept that weaves the threads between the works even more closely, opening up the space and inviting visitors to spend time and reflect.
