Finissage: „In deinen Raum“ von Katharina Paquet

In January, Katharina Paquet's photography collection "In deinen Raum" will be on display at the Neue Apotheke. The finissage will be celebrated on January 26 from 6 to 9 p.m., during which there will also be a discussion between the artist and model at 7 p.m.

"In your space" is a collection of works from 2018 to 2025 that explore the themes of intimacy, nudity and relationships. The people photographed come from the artist's circle of friends, some of whom are close confidants. They were repeatedly photographed in front of the camera over a long period of time, which lends the images a rhythmic and documentary quality. The photographs play with the contrasts of presence and absence that characterize the encounter between the person in front of and behind the camera - a discrepancy between closeness and distance. The works invite us to reflect on the dynamics of observation and participation and to explore the often subtle boundaries between closeness and distance.
