Two sought-after and expressive musicians present their joint project on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Ars Asperta e.V. association: "Piano meets World Percussion" - an exciting musical dialog between Marina Baranova, who has made a name for herself not only as a classical pianist, and Murat Coşkun, who is considered a world percussion specialist and a master of frame drums.

The two met for the first time during studio recordings with the legendary Giora Feidman and a snapshot resulted in a duo program in which the audience can hear the spark between piano and frame drums. Intensive work together resulted in compositions for their first joint CD Firebird, which reveal the musicians' passion and creativity.
Baranova and Coşkun inspire each other and live out their incredibly versatile musicality in improvisations. They give the audience rhythms, grooves and melodies and turn them into enthusiastic companions on an extraordinary musical journey.
