If the world of music were a landscape, Daniel He would have made himself at home somewhere on a hill between Nick Drake and Elliott Smith. The 23-year-old Chinese student of architecture in Munich recorded his first album alone on an iPad. On it, Daniel He proves that even minimalist songs with vocals and guitar can have impressive depth.
