Sonofold is the solo project of South African singer-songwriter Nic Olsen, a musician who has made a significant impact on his country's alternative rock scene. Olsen began his career as frontman and songwriter of the early 2000s band Perez, which received two South African Music Award nominations for "Best Rock Album" and scored four number one hits. He also
he wrote hits for the Parlotones, including the platinum-certified song "Push Me to the Floor."
