The struggle is real, but it's also a family affair for Flavio. Anyone who grows up in Gelsenkirchen like the newcomer rapper not only knows the streets of one of Germany's poorest cities, but also the cohesion they can bring.

Flavio's "Warm Up" is an inventory. Because with success comes expectations and with expectations comes pressure. But it is also an awareness of his own status when Flavio formulates quotables about his newcomer status: "I think my heart will never go viral/ Am I ungrateful because I doubt myself?" These are the expressions and feelings of an outspoken street poet who does not confuse sensitivity with weakness.

This understanding is also expressed in the sound: Delicate piano scores dance over buzzing 808 breaks of "Festhalten" or the single "Haus des Geldes", which unfold with timid caution. But it is above all the opener "Zuhause" that expresses the core of "Warm Up": "All this money invites people to my dining table/ They go along with every trend, I'm skeptical about it all," raps the German-Sarde over heavy piano chords, thanking his friends from the street by name.
