and create sharp electro pop: sharply honed lyrics about gender roles & sexual self-determination // singing and rapping over clubby beats & glittering synths // energetic & theatrical on stage.

Once you've seen a Haie show, you won't forget it in a hurry. Positively weird with an energy you can't escape - big festivals like Open Flair or SommerPalooza didn't want to miss it, and in 2024 we're getting the shark tornado!

Unimpressed, the two predatory fish sail over supposed genre boundaries and social taboo zones. Electro pop as a playground for club beats and synth worlds; a little bit of Stromae, a little bit of the Orsons, a German answer to Die Antwoord. Pop, rap, EDM, social criticism, trash & intellect - the Flying Sharks play with the oversupply of our time and form their very own aesthetic from it.

Their current single "s3x=selfcare" makes you want to go to festivals, after-show parties and long nights. Nights that you don't spend alone. The sharks blast 1:55 hyperpop with a desire for consensual casual one-night stands. After all, the duo itself was born out of one of these. Stations such as egoFM, BR, WDR, Deutschlandfunk Kultur and newspapers such as "Süddeutsche" celebrate the "socio-critical poetry" (SZ) and "really cool music!" (Lumara, WDR) of the Haie. And so their fan community, the "Hai Society", grows day by day - until we all take off and dance our way out of the shark tank of life. From the club to the head. For a new world. Let's go!
