Starting point 2 p.m., from AWO, Flinger Broich 12, Düsseldorf.
It starts at an old crane factory and leads across Schützenplatz to Fire Station 4. On Kettwiger Straße, we get to know a listed "spiral garage" before learning about the "maternity asylum" and the oldest farm still in existence in the heart of Flingern. We continue to a historic monastery complex and the workers' housing estate on Hellweg. At Grafenberg station, we provide information about the Ruhr Valley Railway and the Hohenzollern locomotive factory. The tour ends at the border to Düsseltal at the Haniel & Lueg clock tower.
