River trip with piano

With the Danube project, Munich composer and pianist Florian Christl takes his audience on a rousing musical journey along the Danube. Of course, this is not about an onomatopoeic depiction of the diverse riverside landscape. Rather, the focus is on the flow of the river itself. An attempt to not simply let the unstoppable river and its story(s) pass by, but to become a part of it - from the observer from the outside to the discoverer from the inside. Accompanied by his ensemble, Christl presents a selection of his best works alongside this exciting emotional river journey.
