On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Oldenburg's Amadeus will be the setting for a very special kind of encounter: the improvisational theater group 12-Meter-Hase is taking on a real Internet phenomenon - the infamous Florida Man.

Florida Man is arrested naked on the beach with a beer in his hand and women's underwear.

As part of the "USA Encounters 2025" series, the players embark on a wild journey through the bizarre headlines and grotesque escapades of American media history. At the center: the ludicrous stories about men (and occasionally women) who make headlines in Florida for absurd deeds - from the curious to the hair-raising.

Florida One steals a police car, uses the siren to stop another vehicle and then flees in the SUV.

In the best improv tradition, the artists transform real "Florida Man" headlines live on stage into unique scenes full of spontaneity, wit and madness. The audience can look forward to an evening of comedy, satire and political allegory - including a special finale: the audience votes for a new US president together from the ensemble - something that is sorely needed, of course.

Florida Man is arrested after trying to steal an alligator by putting it in a dustbin.
