This workshop gives young people aged between 16 and 21 the opportunity to gain their first experience of DJing - under the guidance of a real hip hop legend: "Der Wolf" guides participants through the history of DJing as a central element of hip hop culture and teaches the basics of turntablism in a practical way.
The focus is on techniques such as scratching, pitching and beatmatching. Together we will create a 20-minute mix - consisting of songs that the participants can bring along themselves (via USB stick or Spotify). This mix will be played live at the final event on 21.06. at WirrWarr-Wehringhausen! In a relaxed atmosphere, the aim is to learn how to use DJ equipment in a playful way and to live out your enthusiasm for music in a creative way.
