fluxus + poétique 42’

In the organizer's words:

Z comes from the land of the Bosporus. Her flatmate in Berlin only has a little time, but she wants to get to know Z. Z tries to speak her language because her flatmate speaks no other language. It is difficult to improvise in a foreign language. The sounds of the city that Z leaves behind are reborn in the new city. The chaotic rhythms of old Istanbul meet the polyphonic soul of the Berlin she has just entered. Music and words search for each other. 42 minutes are an adventure in time.

The composer Emre Dündar developed it together with musik+theater Opera Now. The piano and electronic music are reminiscent of the cities. Elif Ürse tells a story with quotes from important Turkish poets. The audience experiences 42 minutes that are like a journey in which every second is rediscovered and improvised.

21:00 - Opera Now e.V. foundation celebration with reception (church hall) - The reception in the church hall is free of charge for concertgoers.

Canteen: Delicious food and drinks will be available in the Luther Cafe.

Public transportation: The nearest and barrier-free subway station is U7 Rathaus Neukölln, the bus is M42, station Fuldastr.

Parking: The venue does not have its own parking lot.

Accessibility: Ev. Kirche Martin Luther is accessible for people with motor disabilities. Wheelchair users are welcome to use the ramp. The nearest disabled toilet is located on the ground floor.
