Fontänefest

In the organizer's words:

The people of Halle know it, visitors marvel at the fountain on the Ziegelwiese, one of the highest in Europe at up to 80 meters high. Once a year, a festival is held around the fountain with music, dancing, lots of stalls and games.

Every year, publishers, booksellers and clubs from the city present themselves around the pond. Especially for families and children, there is puppet theater in the circus tent in the afternoon. There are also opportunities to join in and let off steam. The Friends of the Halle Fountain in the Peißnitzhaus e.V. as organizers offer information and souvenirs relating to Halle's largest water feature.

The highlight is the colorfully illuminated fountain - to the classical sounds of the "Fontana Festival Orchestra". Lots of good reasons for a relaxing Sunday afternoon on the Ziegelwiese!
