Climate change is altering the environmental conditions to which plants are exposed. This is not only happening in countries that already have high average temperatures, but also on our doorstep. But what does this mean? How are the plants affected? Prof. Dr. Petra Bauer (Heinrich Heine University) uses Arabidopsis thaliana, a typical inhabitant of the city, to explain how this rather inconspicuous plant behaves in its environment and what strategies it has to deal with environmental changes. You will also find out how you can help to research this plant in its environment.
