As part of the cultural program for the European Hockey Championships 2025 in Mönchengladbach, the Mönchengladbach City Library invites you to a special discussion evening on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, at 7.30 pm in the Carl Brandts Haus Central Library. Under the title "Diversity in Sport", City Library Director Yilmaz Holtz-Ersahin will meet Mats Grambusch, captain of the German national field hockey team and one of the most successful German field hockey players of the last decade.
Grambusch, who was born in Mönchengladbach and currently plays for GHTC in the Bundesliga, can look back on an impressive career: in 2023 he won the World Championship title with the German national team, and in 2024 he won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris.
