Fotoausstellung #Klimagerecht leben

In the organizer's words:

The photo exhibition shows how people around the world are working to act in a more climate-friendly way. Images by photographers from all over the world show local initiatives and globally networked climate projects. The international cooperative Oikocredit is also working with people to find solutions for greater climate justice: in the Global South, it is strengthening renewable energies and the climate resilience of local communities through financing; in the Global North, regional support groups are working to raise awareness of the necessary social transformation.

We at Oikocredit Förderkreis Baden-Württemberg are delighted to be able to show the exhibition #Klimagerecht leben in the church "St. Maria als" and have put together an exciting accompanying program.

• In conversation with representatives of the Oikocredit Förderkreis Baden-Württemberg and "St. Maria als"/ Salon Populaire about the theme of the exhibition at this special location, moderated by Dr. Christina Alff
• Interactive session with Kafalo Sékongo (EPIZ education officer): "How images (can) have a transformative effect"
• Musical accompaniment: Dorota Welz
• In cooperation with "St. Maria als" and EssenFair Tailer: Harrys Bude

Workshop "Climate crisis, cocoa scarcity and consumption": Wednesday, 16.10.2024, 5 to 6 pm and 7.30 to 8.30 pm

On World Food Day, everythingrevolves around cocoa and chocolate, many people's favorite snack. How is (my) chocolate consumption linked to the climate crisis? Educational speakers Dr. Christina Alff and Marc Ehrmann are offering the same workshop at two different times: from 5 to 6 pm and from 7.30 to 8.30 pm.
