On 16.07. from 3 pm, the Museum Haus des Papiers, organizer of the photo festival "Communication and Attitude", invites you to the foyer of the Jacob-und-Wilhelm-Grimm-Zentrum. The curators will be on site and look forward to stimulating discussions.

What happens to democratic spaces when posturing becomes posturing and nobody listens anymore?

In summer 2025, the Museum Haus des Papiers is dedicating a large-scale photo festival to this question. The focus is on "Understanding democracy and respectful communication". Where language reaches its limits, images can open up spaces. This is where photography becomes a medium of debate.

"Communication and Attitude" runs from July 3 to September 7 and brings photographic positions on the topic of understanding democracy and respectful communication into the public space - at 16 exhibition venues in Berlin, Chemnitz and Basel: on facades, building fences and in cultural institutions.
