The FotoVeedel guided tours present the varied exhibition program of this year's festival. The tours are led by art historians, curators and students of art history! The mixture between the subjective view of the people and the professional know-how of the guides can offer a particularly interesting opportunity to get involved with the exhibitions. Come along and bring your curiosity with you. It is very important to us that you look around with an open mind, ask questions and talk to each other.

Nana Tazuke-Steiniger is an art historian and doctoral student in Cologne. She is interested in the historical and contemporary reception of artworks in and from Japan as well as their stereotypical representations in other cultures in order to question social and political issues and diversity in Japan. She has curated exhibitions including border/less (2024), Japanisches Kulturinstitut Köln, Retrospective 25 Jahre c/o-Künstler*innenförderung (2023), Kulturbüro Mönchengladbach, HIER UND JETZT im Museum Ludwig: zusammen dafür und gegen (2021/2022), Museum Ludwig, and published articles for various exhibition catalogs. She is currently a research assistant at the Institute of Art History and coordinator of the state-funded funding program "Forschungsvolontariat Kunstmuseen NRW" at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf.
