The FotoVeedel guided tours present the varied exhibition program of this year's festival. The tours are led by art historians, curators and students of art history! The mixture between the subjective view of the people and the professional know-how of the guides can offer a particularly interesting opportunity to get involved with the exhibitions. Come along and bring your curiosity with you. It is very important to us that you look around with feeling and remain open, ask questions and talk to each other.

With Ayda Alimadadi (DE-Farsi) through three exhibitions

We will look at works by Nina Mokhtarbaf, Maryam Takhtkeshian and Hanieh Bozorgnia, among others. We end at the Temporary House of Photography (Stoff-Pavillon Moeller). Afterwards we can enjoy a drink together. The tour will be held in German-Farsi and is open to all people interested in Iranian-diasporic perspectives in photography and beyond.

Ayda Alimadadi is a filmmaker between Cologne and Tehran. She is deepening her artistic practice at the KHM in Cologne and has been dedicated to the topics of inclusion and accessibility for several years. She is currently developing her debut film as well as short documentaries about domestic violence, discrimination and people with a migration background. With a passion for directing, screenwriting and cultural mediation, she creates projects that interweave art, community and social perspectives. Multilingual and versatile, she is committed to creating spaces for encounters and new narratives.
