Fragments

Freely adapted from Olivia Wilde with text fragments by Peter Sloterdijk & Byung-Chul Han

Alice, Margaret, Bunny, Violet and Susan are all living the American dream of the 1950s. Nowadays, they would probably be described as tradwives: pastel-colored houses, flawless make-up, beautiful dresses, fine cooking skills and hard-working husbands making a career for the up-and-coming US company Victory. These women moved into one of Victory's houses in a desert idyll far away from the big city especially for this purpose. It's hard to believe how perfect it seems. Only what the men do there at Victory has to remain top secret, but who cares? But if it weren't for the quiet murmur in the emptiness.
Fragments tells a story about longing and self-determination.

Play length: 75 minutes, no intermission.
