What can you do? After 15 years of band history, 5 studio albums, a live album with lots of original songs, countless concerts and even more parties for the usual reasons for a "hobby band", we drew a serious line under "one of Germany's best-known ska groups" (Wikipedia) with a final release in 2010.

Then they let themselves be persuaded here and there to play one or two "last" gigs. At some point, they realized that it's even more fun now than it was back then, and that the audience seems to feel the same way. And that the bone of only seeing the band mates occasionally (and practically not seeing the many people we've grown fond of on the road and met again and again over the years) is harder than we thought.

And now? Yet another "very last" concert to ease the phantom pain? What are people supposed to think...? And then you realize that you're already back in the thick of it and it no longer feels like a farewell but like a new start. So let's go and make sure that the Old Lady crosses the 25-year mark with dignity.

FRAU DOKTOR LIVE 2021

Founded in 1995, "one of Germany's best-known ska groups" (Wikipedia) disbanded in 2010 after 4 studio albums and countless concerts. Eight years later, a final, concluding year of concerts was announced, at the end of which, however, "after a very emotional ordeal", the band's dissolution was officially declared a failure. It goes on - with a smaller schedule, but with 90% of the original line-up!

And to mark the band's 25th anniversary, a brand new studio album is now even on the way with "ONKEL PUNK"! If that's not a reason to celebrate...
