Children
One of the best-known and most popular fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm about the story of two sisters who couldn't be more different and Frau Holle.
A widow has an ugly, lazy daughter and a hard-working, beautiful stepdaughter. While the former basks in her laziness, the stepdaughter has to do all the work. When a spool falls into the well, she has to jump in to get it out again. But Marie ends up in a beautiful meadow full of flowers. She harvests the ripe apples because the trees ask her to and takes the baked bread out of the oven, otherwise it would have been burnt. Her path continues to a little house where Mrs. Holle looks out of the window. Every morning, the two shake out the beds vigorously. "And when the feathers fly, it snows all over the world." When Marie wants to go home again, she is richly rewarded for her hard work by Mother Hulda. Once home, her envious sister wants to do the same and jumps into the well.
Will she have the same fate and return home rich?
