Compiled by ajabu ajabu the program is dedicated to the silence and speechlessness of women created by social expectations and patriarchal systems. The filmmakers ' visual language makes it clear that silence and the emotions it conceals often speak louder than words.

T-JUNCTION by Amil Shivji, Tanzania 2017, 106 min.

In his first feature-length film, Shivji tells the story of two women and their circumstances. Fatima and Maria meet in a hospital, each of them carrying her own kind of pain. They find each other in a story full of anger and love, sorrow and joy, loneliness and comfort.
