FrauVonDa//: "OderHive"

In the organizer's words:

FrauVonDa// invites you to an immersive happening around the Oder habitat.

FrauVonDa// dives under water - into a kaleidoscope of hearing, seeing, feeling and thinking at the limits of human perception, lasting several hours and ranging from meditative to disturbing. Open, artistically designed discussion rounds by a community of international scientists, artists and the audience alternate with visual art, sound art, free improvisation and the compositions of Wojtek Blecharz. Our newly developed format invites everyone to become part of the Oder community. FrauVonDa// tells of the existing and possible communities in and around the river in a unique, multi-sensory polyphony - between scientific facts, artistic fiction and visionary discourse.

The project takes place in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries in Berlin and the Freie Universität Berlin/Intervening Arts.
