At "FreaKabarett: Folie à Trois", our audience can expect a fragmentary, dark comedy full of longing, pain, music and bitter self-mockery.
Acting, singing, dancing, pop-cultural references and 90 minutes of dream dumping (but fun).
The main themes of the production include: The individual otherness of the mind, struggles through queerness, body shaming, kink shaming, neurodiversity, romantic loss and commitment anxiety.
In this production, the three actors confront the desire for a functioning partnership as well as a healthy relationship with their own selves.
The interplay and dynamics between the "self", society and one's own body are examined in a focused way.
Common narratives regarding toxic dynamics between lovers are taken up and distorted, supplemented with very personal experiences and attempts to invalidate each other.
This atmospheric stage program combines the experimental performance format FreAkademy with the conditions of a classical cabaret for the first time.
