Mother and daughter duo Tess (Curtis; "True Lies", "Halloween") and Anna (Lohan; "Girls Club", "The Parent Trap") are reunited once again for more body-swapping shenanigans in the long-awaited sequel to the successful 2003 comedy "Freaky Friday". The follow-up sees Tess and Anna swapping bodies once again after a palm reader predicts history is about to repeat itself. But, this time, there are two more characters caught up in the drama as Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover lightning might indeed strike twice. The delightfully refreshing sequel is a funny and energetic body-swap comedy, with a nicely warm and sympathetic approach, first-rate performances from Curtis and Lohan, and plenty of hilarious moments as the family must once again navigate life as they pretend to be someone they're not.
