Fred Armisen

Fred Armisen is a multi-talented comedian, writer, producer and musician.

He has earned numerous awards and nominations (including several Prime Time Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award) for his work in television as a writer for "Saturday Night Live", "Portlandia" and "Documentary Now". He recently starred in the Netflix hit series "Wednesday" and alongside Rob Lowe in the Netflix drama "Unstable". Both are going into a second season. His series "Los Espookys", in which he was involved as a co-writer and percentage and even played the role of Tico, was also creepy. As a long-standing member of "Saturday Night Live", he left a lasting impression on audiences time and time again, delighting them with his many and varied characters.

But before he turned to comedy, his career began in the Chicago music scene. From his beginnings with the post-punk band Trenchmouth to his time with Blue Man Group, he has had an impressive career. But his talent for comedy first blossomed with the underground short film "Fred Armisen's Guide to Music and South by Southwest" in 1998, and since then he has been an integral part of the glorious world of film and comedy.

With his stand-up program "Standup for Drummers", which is also available as a Netflix special, Fred has presented his mix of comedy and music on numerous stages. He also appeared as bandleader of the 8G Band in "Late Night With Seth Meyers", where he united indie rock greats such as Les Savy Fav and Girls Against Boys.

True to the motto: comedy for musicians, but everyone is welcome; Fred Armisen is now coming to Germany on a small and exclusive scale!
