Fredrik Vahle

In the organizer's words:

Fredrik Vahle has been around for a long time - and yet is always young and new. In addition to his teaching activities at the University of Giessen, Frederik has been active in teacher and educator training, working with Goethe Institutes, e.g. in Paraguay and Warsaw. He has performed at congresses and at the German Children's Song Congress, which he co-initiated. Numerous awards, patronages, charity campaigns, Federal Cross of Merit.

His children's songs have accompanied generations. In his eventful life, he has traveled to many continents and countries and is enthusiastic about other cultures, especially songs, dances and games. It all started with "Rübe" in the '68 era, which he now enjoys singing again. He is particularly fond of Greek and Spanish songs and melodies. And since the early days of "Rübe", movement and play have always been part of it, but have also developed further through Feldenkrais, Tai Chi and yoga experiences. And his songs about peace and friendship are extremely important today.
